It’s a Match to Marriage
From their first meeting, Carol and Mike were completely comfortable with each other. A dinner date, arranged via Bumble, was just the beginning for them. Little did they know that about four years later, they would be getting married!
Carol and Mike are inseparable and best friends. They are always on-the-go. They like to travel, explore Old Town, dine out, or simply relax while watching Bravo. They even like working out together. (Carol claims she is in better shape than Mike as she is also a personal trainer.)
Both have similar techie-type jobs and interests, too. Carol is an Associate Creative Director with Deloitte Digital and Mike is a serial entrepreneur, startup founder, and currently the head of IntelliBridge Studio. As you can imagine, they are super busy but always find time for each other. Friends and family have commented that they are true complements of each other.
As a romantic close to their dating status, Mike recreated their first date at the Majestic restaurant in Old Town, Alexandria. Carol was truly surprised when she got a Bumble notification saying, “Will you marry me?” She said, “yes,” and the rest is history.

There are several Airbnbs and VRBOs in downtown Fredericksburg or surrounding areas. In addition, there are hotels located in Central Park.
Transportation
You will need to rent a car to get to Fredericksburg, Virginia as it is located ~70 miles south from Washington, D.C. and ~60 miles north of Richmond, Virginia.
Please note that 95 North/South is a heavily traveled interstate, and you should incorporate travel time. Alternatively, you can take the Amtrak train from D.C. or Richmond to arrive at the Fredericksburg train station.

6:00 p.m. Reception at The Cove at Fawn Lake Country Club
9:30 p.m. First shuttle leaves from Fawn Lake for hotels
11:00 p.m. Second shuttle leaves from Fawn Lake for hotels

If you are staying at a hotel and utilizing provided transportation…
It is recommended that you utilize the transportation that we are providing as parking is limited. A shuttle bus will be provided from each hotel (Marriott and Hyatt) to Fawn Lake for the ceremony and reception. It will depart at 3:15. p.m. and offer two return trip options of 9:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
If you are driving on your own…
If you are driving, you will need to park at The Cove at Fawn Lake Country Club. There is no parking at the ceremony site. Upon entering Fawn Lake, let the guard know your name and that you are attending the Dye/Pansky wedding. Once arriving at The Cove, there will be transportation to the ceremony at The Pole Barn departing at 4:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. and returning to The Cove for the reception.
